The Multicultural Center is made up of ten distinct cultural clubs, each seeking to promote and educate the greater community about their own unique culture through various events and activities. Asian Pacific-Islander Student Union (APSU) APSU aims to promote fellowship and unity among Asian Pacific Islander students and those interested in API cultures through social and cultural activities. We aim to promote awareness, understanding, and appreciation of API identities, heritages and cultures. Co-chairs: Lillian Ching and Preston Jeung
Barkada (Filipino Student Organization) The mission of Barkada of Santa Clara University is to promote the awareness of the Filipino culture and community on the SCU campus through education, networking, and social activities/events, while upholding its heritage, traditions, and relationships. Chinese Student Association (CSA) Our organization aims to educate about diversity, and encourage a further understanding of Chinese and Asian culture through social events, community service, and activities that we provide to all students of Santa Clara University. Igwebuike (Black Student Union) To promote multiculturalism on campus and to spread awareness about pan-africanism. Co-chairs: Stephen Archer and Munir Iman
Intandesh (South Asian Student Organization) To promote the social and cultural awareness of South Asian countries at Santa Clara University through community service, knowledge, education, and love. President: Salman Janjua
Japanese Student Association (JSA) The Japanese Student Association aims to promote Japanese Culture and provide a place to explore Japanese heritage. Co-chairs: Tracy Akashi and Ryan Hirata
Ka Mana'o O Hawai'i To promote fellowship among students of Hawaii and students interested in the culture of Hawaii at SCU, while creating an awareness, understanding and appreciation of the lifestyle and culture of Hawaii within the university community. President: Kekaui Zukeran-Kerr
MEChA - El Frente (Latino Student Organization) MEChA stands for Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano Aztlan. MEChA's purpose is to demonstrate cultural awareness, discuss contemporary issues in society, conduct community outreach programs and social events on and off campus. Vietnamese Student Association (VSA) To promote unity among students and promote the appreciation for cultural diversity at school. To uphold and honor the Vietnamese cultures and traditions. To assimilate with the essense of other cultures and support the MCC. President: Nam Nguyen
